Ji'Gang(Ji’nan Steel Group Co,. Ltd) was founded in 1958. It was the first batch of steel production enterprises which created since new China. In the past years,the largest capacity of steel was as high as to 12 million tons per year.



In March 2008, Shandong Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. was established, and Ji'Gang became a major member of Shandong Iron and Steel Group. In 2016, Due to the new rule of government, Ji'Gang had paused a big part of the production.  

From 1958, when the factory was established, to the suspension of steel production, the company produced 155 million tons of iron,  137 million tons of steel. Profits and taxes reached 31.6 billion yuan.
